Costa Rica had long been at the top of my photographic wishlist. I expected untouched nature, diverse scenery and a deep understanding of the importance of ecological preservation. Finally getting to visit the country surpassed my expectations. Travelling from eco-lodges in the depths of the Monteverde rainforest to seaside turtle sanctuaries while passing semi-active volcanoes and world-class surf was an experience like no other.
