An ongoing exploration of abstract shapes.

Deciding whether a photograph is "art" or "documentation" is often a subjective exercise. As a photographer you can coax the viewer along by labelling the image as one or the other, but in the end the decision is out of your hands. It often seems to be easier for a wider audience to accept photography as art if the subject matter is not entirely clear; if the image is abstract. In this series, I attempt to lean into this abstraction and create images of shapes and lines, without human presence.
