There's a few things that make a great bikepacking trip. 1) bring good friends, 2) make a route and don't stick to it, 3) don't ever take yourself too seriously. This one ticked all the boxes. The goal? Completing the historic journey from arguably Britain's bleakest sightseeing attraction, Blackpool tower, to the slightly more respectable french equivalent; the Eiffel tower.
